We had an air conditioner installed by Econoair Heating & Cooling Inc. located in a plaza in Beaver Creek Richmond Hill last summer. It was by far the most painless experience we had with a contractor. They did not have the model we bought, and they kindly gave me a free upgrade. The installer was very professional and we are extremely happy with the entire process. They even handle the government energy rebate process for us.

My air condition broke down in the middle of summer when the temperature was very hot and humid. I went to the Econoair store in Richmond Hill. The sale people are very friendly. We decided to get the Bryant Central Air and have it installed in a few days. The installer are excellent and very knowledgeable.

The servicemen were on time and finished both jobs efficiently and leaving the place as clean as it was when they started. I also use them for the yearly maintenance. I would highly recommend them.

Not an easy job so got several quotes, chose another contractor and then threw them out the morning they arrived without any duct material. Had some of highly recommended firms make proposals that did not meet building codes - now that is scary. Bruce Pour came in, was extremely knowledgeable, made excellent recommendations, pre-ordered the ducting materials (no straight runs), and had team here on schedule. Installers were great, organized, careful and thorough. Best of all - heat in house is way better balanced, ducts sized properly and furnace room reorganized to give us more space. We have a quiet Trane unit. And pricing was excellent - Direct Energy quoted $11,500 without the air conditioner for the same furnace!
